Showery weather to hit Liverpool before it heats up again

People will experience a cooler week as cloudy weather conditions are expected.

The Met Office has predicted a few days of unsettled weather, with a mixture of bright spells and showers on the forecast. Today, on Monday, July 25, it will often be cloudy.

There will be plenty of scattered showers throughout the day, but forecasters say most of them should be light. Despite the rainy conditions, it remains fairly warm, with highs of 20C and lows of 15C.

Into the evening there will be more rain but overnight the wet weather should clear. On Tuesday, m ost areas will see a lot of fine weather with some bright spells.

There will still be showers and light winds are expected. From Wednesday to Friday this trend of light showers and wind will continue but it will start to heat up.

BBC weather forecaster Chris Fawkes said: "There is more rain to come over the next few days, but little as you can see over parts of southern and eastern England, which continues to be one of the driest parts of the UK this month - and it is an exceptionally dry month"
