Showaddywaddy's Perth gig postponed as singer has COVID

Rock and roll legends Showaddywaddy’s gig at the Tulloch Institute in Perth has been called off after lead singer Andy Pelos contracted COVID-19.

Showaddywaddy posted: “We’re really sad to miss you this time, and hope to see you in the near future.”

The show - due to take place on Sunday September 26 - has been rearranged for Sunday, October 10.

A limited number of tickets remain available for the rescheduled show, priced at £30. Doors will open at 2pm with the band on stage at 3pm.

Showaddywaddy, with 209 weeks in the UK singles charts and 10 top 10 singles to their name, will entertain an audience of 200.

The band predominantly still sell out theatres and concert venues across the UK and Europe.

Decades promotions in association with the Tulloch Institute have pulled out all the stops to secure the one-off show, which was originally scheduled to take place before the pandemic.

The last few remaining tickets are still up for grabs and are available by contacting the Perth social club on 01738 621541 or by emailing thetullochclub@hotmail.co.uk
