Were you supposed to attend the Grand National Festival at Aintree Racecourse this weekend?
While the annual event has been cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak, the ECHO is encouraging fans to celebrate at home.
By now, the festivities would be well and truly underway , with champagne corks popping and bets placed as the build up to world’s greatest steeplechase begins.
As tomorrow is what should be Ladies Day, the most glamorous day of the festival, we’re asking would-be-racegoers to get all dressed up and send us their photos to be in with a chance of winning a pamper package thanks to Liverpool ONE.
We know that the people of Liverpool will have been planning their outfits for months in advance, and we don’t want them to go to waste.
Just because the event itself is cancelled doesn't mean we can't celebrate how stylish Liverpool is.
Our retail reporter Catherine Murphy was due to be on this year's Style Award panel. She said: "It's such a shame but completely understandable that Aintree was cancelled this year.
"I was really looking forward to seeing everyone in their outfits. Liverpool always pulls out all the stops and I know this year would have been no different.
"While everything seems really doom and gloom lately, this is an opportunity to still get dressed up and send us your pictures because no doubt many people had their outfits planned for month.
"At the ECHO we're still planning on celebrating the people of our city this weekend and we're glad to be able to team up with Liverpool ONE to give our winner a great prize."
