Shouty Kid: How Harry Riddles Mega-Massively Broke the School by Simon Mayle - review

Simon Mayle, How Harry Riddles Mega-Massively Broke the School (Shoutykid, Book 2)

I think this book has a great title but I do not think it goes with the book at all because they are writing letters or emails to each other which is one of the quietest ways to communicate with people!

Right, onto the book itself: it has an interesting story but it is not set out in the best way. I personally think it should have been written as a diary entry as that would have shown the storyline in a better way. Later on in the story (not at the beginning) I started to understand why it had been set out that way and I could see the good storyline.

The book is about a typical boy's life with crushes that he wants to be his girlfriend, parents he wants to make proud and he is always playing games. If I match this with a boy I know, like my brother, most of these are true but without the crush (he is a bit younger than the character).

I suggest this book to boys who need something to relate to.

And I just wanted to bring up the title again and say if you give it a name like Shouty Kid I would think that the kid has problems with being too loud but that's not what it actually was.
