Popular gacha Limbus Company has surpassed 100,000 peak concurrent players on Steam alone, and the sudden rise is all thanks to the 6th Walpurgisnacht event and its Target Extraction banner.
For the newly initiated, any Walpurgisnacht (or Walpurgis Night) banner is pretty overpowered thanks to their featured Identities. While there are just 12 characters in the game, you'll want to get the stronger IDs. The 6th Walpurgisnacht Target Extraction Banner has two featured IDs and one featured E.G.O. So, how well does this current Walpurgis Night banner rank, and is it worth spending your Tickets and Lunacy on it?
Is The 6th Walpurgisnacht Target Extraction banner worth opening in Limbus Company?
Suppose you're a beginner and just getting started. In that case, you'll have three options at your hand (excluding the beginner banner): The 6th Walpurgis Night Target Extraction Banner, The 1st - 2nd Bokgak Walpurgis Night Target Extraction Banner, and the Standard Extraction. Your focus, especially as a beginner, is the first banner.
Here are the featured items of the banner.
- Rodion (Lobotomy E.G.O:: The Sword Sharpened With Tears)
- Don Quixote (In the Name of Love and Hate)
- Don Quixote (In the Name of Love and Hate E.G.O.)
Let's first discuss Rodion's latest ID, which is absurdly strong. I am assessing both IDs at Uptie 3 (which isn't challenging to reach), so you can improve them further. She inflicts Sinking on her targets, and the skills scale up in power. Moreover, she gains more Coin Power as her Sinking stacks on enemies increase.

She also has some amazing Passives. Her first Passive has status effects on both Plus and Minus Coin Skills. Whispers of the Betrayed Knight protects SP loss from plenty of factors that allow her to use E.G.O. more frequently. Finally, she counters enemies with Piercing Sword with the help of Break, Tear, and Pierce by inflicting Sinking instead.
In the Name of Love and Hate is arguably the best ID for Don Quixote. Her skills are reliant on Love/Hate counts and scale up similarly to Rodion's. From heals to raw damage, this Don Quixote ID can do it all (including healing your allies).

Most importantly, both of these characters are absurdly strong in Mirror Dungeons. Mirror Dungeon is your gateway to getting amazing in-game resources, including shards. Both In the Name of Love and Hate and Lobotomy E.G.O:: The Sword Sharpened With Tears are incredible in the Season 6 Mirror Dungeons.
If you've sufficient levels and Uptie 3 on both top-tier characters, chances are that Mirror Dungeon runs shouldn't be a problem, at least in the normal difficulty. You won't have to bother leveling up as Mirror Dungeon automatically levels them to 55. Even adding one of them to your roster of 7 should be good enough, and a combo of both will radically increase your chances of clearing all the floors on a Dungeon run.
Summing up, yes, you should spend as many tickets and Lunacy as possible on the 6th Walpurgis Night banner in Limbus Company, and more so as a beginner. It's better to reroll for at least one of them and grind hard to keep opening the banner till it expires on July 31.
