You could be seeing a lot more Disney (DIS) movies coming to a Netflix (NFLX) queue near you.
For a while now, Wall Street has been open to the idea of Disney adding Netflix to its Mary Poppins bag of media networks that includes Freeform, ESPN and Disney Channel. In fact, Disney has already been building its presence on Netflix since September, when Netflix became the exclusive pay-TV service for new movies by Disney's Marvel, Pixar, Lucasfilm and Disney Studios.
A Disney/Netflix merger could only up the ante on what is already the source of hours of binge-watching procrastination that includes Zootopia and Pirates of the Caribbean. Personally, I'm waiting on the day I can watch all three Toy Story movies in one sitting.
Will Disney truly be the fairy godmother that makes all of our dreams come true? Only time and a CEO or two can tell.
