Should the Warriors consider another lineup change?

On Monday, the Golden State Warriors suffered their 32nd defeat of the season, falling to the New York Knicks.

Steve Kerr‘s team has struggled when playing in front of their fans this season, losing 18 of their 35 home games. It’s difficult to envision Golden State turning the results around during the playoffs.

According to NBC Sports Bay Area’s Kerith Burke, the Warriors may need to consider making another change to their starting lineup as they bid to inject more urgency and potency into their rotation. Burke’s thought process was based on three members of the starting unit having serious offensive issues against the Knicks.

“One of the things that stands out to me right now is looking at three Warriors starters combining for nine points, and Wiggins had seven of those,” Burke said. “Something might need to change in that starting lineup. … When you go with this starting lineup, what do you have to help out Steph Curry and Jonathan Kuminga?”

Kerr has been bold in his decision-making this season. He hasn’t held back in making difficult decisions, as evidenced by Klay Thompson‘s move to the bench.

Whatever the Warriors decide to do, they will need to figure things out quickly. Time is ticking down as the playoffs rapidly approach. If Golden State can’t turn things around, it may be an early vacation for their roster.
