Should the Steelers use the franchise tag on Bud Dupree?

The latest rumor going around is the Pittsburgh Steelers are planning to use the franchise tag on outside linebacker Bud Dupree. This would be a massive financial commitment for the 2020 season. Is this in the best interest of the team? This is the question for Steeler Nation today.

Dupree had a breakout season in 2019. After struggling to get any traction through his first four seasons. Pittsburgh still gave Dupree his fifth-year option despite never getting more than 6.0 sacks in a season. Dupree rewarded them with 11.5 sacks and 16 tackles for loss.

Is one season enough to make this level of financial commitment to Dupree? Cast your vote and let us know.
