Should the Steelers have signed Colin Kaepernick?

Back in November when former NFL Colin Kaepernick worked out for the NFL, we asked the question whether or not the Pittsburgh Steelers should try to sign him. This is how the results of that poll turned out.

It was very close but by fan vote, Steeler Nation was in favor of bringing Kaepernick in. The team went 3-3 after Kaepernick’s workout but the offense continued to flounder. Pittsburgh failed to score 30 points in any game last season and did not produce a 300-yard passer.

I understand the moral objectives of some fans to having Kaepernick on the team. But if we are being honest with ourselves, every fan has levels of what is unacceptable moral behavior by their favorite players. So putting all that aside, can anyone objectively say the Steelers offense would have been worse in the final six games if Kaepernick had been on the team?

Cast your vote and tell us if you think the Steelers made a mistake.
