Should the Steelers go all in on Dolphins S Minkah Fitzpatrick?

No matter how bad Pittsburgh Steelers fans think they have it, they can take comfort in knowing they aren’t primed for a season like the Miami Dolphins are going to have. It seems the team is actively tanking the season and look to be having a fire sale to build for the future.

One player the Dolphins reportedly have put on the market the Steelers might be interested in is defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick. The former first-round pick has proven he can do everything in the defensive secondary but would be especially valuable to the Steelers as a coverage free safety.

Would it be expensive for Pittsburgh to trade for Fitzpatrick? Absolutely. At a bare minimum, it’s going to cost the Steelers a first next season and possibly one the following. This feels like a huge price to pay but the Steelers haven’t had a truly elite defender much less defensive back since Troy Polamalu. Fitzpatrick has that level of potential heading into his second NFL season.

But I want to pass the question off to you. Are you willing to spend bigtime draft capital to get Fitzpatrick if is means potentially putting this defense over the top?
