Should the Redskins care about Josh Norman’s bull-jumping trip?

In the wake of Josh Norman jumping over a bull in Pamplona, Spain, plenty of opinions on the matter have popped up.

Norman has long called doing so a dream of his, though he earned some ire for the July feat regardless.

The guys at ESPN’s NFL Live, for example, debated whether the Redskins and coaches should be aggravated with the stunt.

One of the analysts went as far as saying teammates could feel some type of way about it: “The reality is if you get hurt doing this, you put your team, your teammates in a bind….you’re an important part of us winning games.”

Ultimately, it’s up to Norman to decide whether his current NFL contract is worth risking on something like this. There are clauses built into most that pertain to these sort of situations and Norman’s base salary of $11 million this year and $12 million next season is something worth keeping in mind.

From a teammate perspective, opinions will probably vary. Norman is indeed a key cog to the team’s success in 2019, but it doesn’t seem likely to be a major topic in the locker room if Norman is in attendance and doing his part.
