Should The Raiders Go After Zach Brown?

Earlier Wednesday the Redskins announced they would be releasing starting linebacker Zach Brown according to reports.

This a big release with the linebacker group in free agency down to the bottom of the barrel when it comes to acquiring impactful talent that can help out the team right away.

Brown is one of the most versatile linebackers in the NFL finishing with an 89.2 overall grade according to Pro Football Focus metrics. He excelled in the run game with over 140 tackles and did well playing against the pass which is needed with teams passing the ball all over the yard.

The Raiders have already added on offense and safety but now it is time for the biggest area of need, which is starting linebacker. the Raiders have not had a quality starter at this position in years.
