Should the Broncos trade for Bengals WR John Ross?

With Emmanuel Sanders recovering from a torn Achilles and Antonio Brown not a trade option, the Denver Broncos need to add more depth to their wide receiver room this offseason.

Cincinnati Bengals speedster John Ross may be among the team’s options. The Bengals are looking to trade Ross, according to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport (via Bengals Wire).

Ross (5-11, 190 pounds) ran a 40-yard dash in 4.22 seconds at the 2017 NFL combine, setting a new record. After showing off his impressive speed, Ross was selected by Cincinnati with the ninth overall pick in the draft.

Ross had a disappointing rookie season, failing to catch any passes and rushing just one time for 12 yards. He had a better year in 2018, catching 21 receptions for 210 yards and seven touchdowns. That’s apparently not good enough production for the Bengals, who are ready to move on from him.

If the Broncos can land Ross for a late-round pick, the team should consider it. He’s a speedy player that would add more depth at WR.
