Driving rules in England could change in a crack down on pavement parking.
It is believed that the Department of Transport is 'actively considering' a ban in England. This follows on from a consultation on people's opinion on the controversial subject.
Although parking on pavements is only illegal in London, councils can issue parking bans in certain areas. It is also illegal for drivers to drive on the pavement.

Parking pavement rows have been reported across Merseyside. The ECHO recently reported on a furious dad who reported some 'selfish' parking outside a Merseyside school.
The dad posted a picture of a white Audi, close to St Bartholomew's School in Rainhill, parked fully on the pavement. The picture, posted to Facebook, was branded 'unacceptable' by parents.
While many criticised the driver's choice in parking, others tried to see the other side of the situation.
Let us know what you think. Should pavement parking be banned completely?
