Should Halloween and Bonfire Night 2020 celebrations be banned due to Covid? Take our survey

Halloween and Bonfire Night are two big seasonal events that people across the North East love getting involved in.

But as Newcastle and the surrounding areas continue to fight the spread of coronavirus, should there be a complete ban on celebrating to stop big groups of people gathering?

Infection rates have dropped in several parts of the region, figures show, but the North East remains a 'High' alert level area.
