Should Eagles be interested in Broncos CB Chris Harris amid trade request?

The Philadelphia Eagles are hunting Super Bowls and the main requirement for hoisting the Lombardi Trophy is an abundance of talent at the most important positions. Despite re-signing Ronald Darby and some young cornerbacks returning after a 2018 season that saw them grow leaps and bounds, the Eagles are still rumored to be in the market for more talent at corner.

The Eagles have been projected to select a cornerback in several mock drafts, but what if they could add a premium defender via trade right now? According to Adam Schefter, Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. has requested either a trade or a new contract.

The Eagles have no shortage of talent at the cornerback position, but Harris would immediately be the top dog in a group that has so much potential but also struggles at times against the deep ball. Roseman is known for doing his due diligence on potential additions and over the past five years, Harris has been selected to four Pro Bowls and has been an All-Pro once. He was also the fourth-best cornerback in the league last season, per Pro Football Focus.

Harris is in the final year of his deal, which could make trading for him difficult with the prospect of having to re-sign him to a big money deal, but Roseman could indeed send one or two of his cornerbacks and a mid-to-late-round pick back to the Broncos for Harris.
