A Shotts postie has been spotted ‘clowning around’ on his round.
But don’t worry there’s nothing to worry about as the postman is simply trying to raise a smile while delivering the mail.
The postie was spotted by Wishaw Press reader Lorna Wemyss.
She said: “His name is Stevie and he always says hello when he sees you.
“He told me it was just to cheer everyone. He told me on Monday to look out for him as he is going to be dressed as Spiderman!
“Stevie is brilliant though. When it was my grand-daughter’s birthday, long before lockdown, he put a wee card through the door saying happy birthday from Postman Pat.”
The postie was also spotted by dozens of others.
In a Facebook post Thomson Dairies stated: “We would like to give a shout out to the local postman, delivering in Shotts, dressed up in fancy dress to lift the spirits of the local community
“Hats off to this man and a big well done, you will get a #free pint and some goodies from us.”
