A number of community groups in Shotts will come together next weekend to hold clean-up event.
It is the culmination of the Great Big Green Week which begins this Saturday.
Getting Better Together will work with local partners including the Salvation Army, Shotts Tenants and Residents Association and the community clean-up group for the event.
Meeting at the Shotts Health Centre, it will run from 10 am until 2 pm.
A spokesperson for GBT said: "The SA will have their tea van and we will have resources for people to use.
"We want to target the central Shotts area but it's about a day of fun, climate awareness and hopefully some people will join the community board environmental sub-group."
