Shots fired on I-57 in Riverdale

Someone fired shots on Interstate 57 Dec. 6, 2019, in south suburban Riverdale. | Sun-Times file photo

Someone unleashed gunfire Friday on Interstate 57 in south suburban Riverdale.

The shooting occurred just before 8 p.m. in the southbound lanes near 138^th Street, according to Illinois State Police.

No one was injured in the shooting, police said.

Anyone who has information about the incident is asked to call Illinois State Police at 847-294-4400.
