A probe has been launched after up to three shots were fired near an apartment block this afternoon.
Gardai launched an investigation and taped off an apartment block in Cherry Orchard, west Dublin after a number of shots were fired in the area at around 2.30pm.
Dublin Live reports that up to three shots were fired in the Cedarbrook area around that time.
The scene on Cedarbrook Way currently has a number of gardai on scene.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.
A Garda spokesman said: "Gardai are investigating reports of shots fired in Cedarbrook, Cherry Orchard, this afternoon at approximately 2:30pm.
"No injuries have been reported. No further information is available at this time."
