Shots fired at police in Fuller Park, no injuries reported

No one was injured after someone fired shots at police Thursday evening in the Fuller Park neighborhood.

Officers were driving in an unmarked car when they heard gunfire and saw a gray Dodge Charger leaving the area in the 4200 block of South Princeton Avenue about 8:40 p.m., police said.

Officers followed the Charger and a passenger opened fire on them, police said.

No one was shot and officers did not return fire, according to police.

There was no one in custody.
