Detectives are investigating following a firearms discharge in Wythenshawe overnight.
Officers received a report of a party at an address on Fairway Avenue, just after 1am on Saturday.
Around ten minutes later, a further call to a report of shots being fired at the address was received.
Officers attended and no one was injured.
Police found bullet casings which have been recovered for forensic analysis.
A scene is currently in place whilst detectives carry out enquiries.

Detective Inspector Christopher Maddocks, from GMP's City of Manchester division, said: "This is understandably an incident that has left a community worried and we're currently working to understand what happened and who was responsible.
"A scene is currently in place and I'd like to thank residents nearby for cooperating whilst we carry out with enquiries.
"At this time, we believe the incident to have been isolated and would ask anyone with information to come forward.
