Community champions, people showing tremendous bravery in the face of adversity and those with a heart of gold will be celebrated at a glittering awards ceremony in Llanelli next month.
The West Wales Community Awards 2019 is back - and this year there are 30 names in the running across nine categories.
Nominees were hand picked by the judging panel of Wales and Llanelli rugby legend Delme Thomas, BMI Werndale Hospital director Jacky Jones and the editor of the Carmarthen Journal and Llanelli Star newspapers Jonathan Roberts.
Ms Jones, whose firm BMI Werndale are sponsoring the event, said: "It was a pleasure to be on the judging panel and inspiring to read the nominations for each category, a truly difficult task to choose winners from such a worthy field.”
Winners will be announced at at the awards ceremony on Friday, May 24, at Parc y Scarlets, Llanelli, starting at 6.45pm.
