Two men are due in court after a report of a "serious assault" in Belfast on Bank Holiday Monday.
Police arrested the men, aged 26 and 32, following the alleged incident in the Short Strand area on Monday, August 26.
They have been charged with Grievous Bodily Harm with intent and are due in court on Wednesday, August 28.
A PSNI spokeswoman said: "Two men aged 26 and 32 have been arrested and charged with Grievous Bodily Harm with intent.
"They are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court this morning Wednesday 28th August. As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS."
