Shoppers warned as Bernard Matthews Turkey Dinosaurs could contain pieces of metal

Frozen food brand Bernard Matthews is recalling its Turkey Dinosaurs because they could contain small pieces of metal.

Shoppers are being advised not to eat the product as the potential contamination makes the product unsafe.

The Food Standards Agency have been alerted about the recall and are urging shoppers to return the product to the store where they purchased it for a full refund, reports Manchester Evening News.

The product is sold in Iceland, Asda, Sainsbury's and Tesco.

Do not eat this product, warns FSA (FSA)

Recalled bags include the 9-pack weighing 450g, with a best before date of November 30, 2020.

It includes batch codes: L19QGG3, L19QGG4, L19QHG3, L19QHG4.

Bernard Matthews has apologised for the inconvenience caused to shoppers and added that no other products had been affected.

Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product.
