However, not everyone is happy with the scheme, as a limit on the amount of vouchers you can receive has now been put into place .

The angry consumer wrote:"Has anybody noticed that they have changed the rules this year - i.e. Only £100 worth of Nectar Double Up vouchers will be issued per Nectar card/account during the promotional period.

"Previously there was no limit on how much you of your nectar points you could use. Previously, there was a limit of £100 voucher per item, now the overall limit you can spend is £100!

"I have 33,000 points which would have been worth £333 in the double up. Now it will be worth £100 + £115 ... so I'm losing £118. I'll be going to Tescos from now on."
