Co-Op has left customers obsessed with one of its latest releases, with some shoppers praising the retailer for “outdoing itself”.
The supermarket chain has its fair share of popular items, and now one of its favourites is back - and people are very excited.
Co-Op has brought back its Croiss’onut, a cross between a doughnut and a croissant, this time in salted caramel flavour.
The new item was shared online by Facebook page Snack News & Reviews, in a post which read: “New Christmas Salted Caramel Croiss’onut at Co-op! Big thanks to Maddy for the pics - she described it as the “Biggest mouth party of 2020 by a mile”. Sounds great doesn’t it?!”
While some shoppers have been discovering the £1 item for the first time, others have long awaited the return of the Croiss’onut.
Beneath the post, one person wrote: “I really want to try this”, while another said: “Um get this doughnut in my belly”.
Others asked family and friends to “keep an eye out” for the item in stores too.
Shoppers have even taken to Twitter to share their love of the Croiss’onut, with one person saying it “exceeds expectations”.
They wrote: “@coopuk you’ve out done yourselves this one exceeds expectations the launch Croiss’onut was #delightful this is #Devine”.
Another said: “@coopuk have excelled themselves with the Christmas Salted Caramel Croiss’onut!”.
A third added: “I've been waiting for these to come in!! Bye bye diet!”
A fourth said the Croiss’onut is the “best pairing since Holmes and Watson”.
The Salted Caramel Croiss’onut is available at Co-Op for £1 now.
