There's still more than a month to go until Valentine's Day but that hasn't stopped budget retailer Poundland releasing engagement rings for men and women.
As well as its traditional ring, the retailer is also selling a "leap year" ring in case any women fancy popping the question in 2020.
Unsurprisingly both rings cost £1 and offer customers the chance to secure their future while on a budget.
However, not everyone is convinced and many have taken to social media sites such as Twitter to share their thoughts.
User @Aimeeleigh97xo said: "I'd rather have a Haribo ring than a Poundland one."

Commenting on the 'leap year' ring, user @MarkBrit0 said: "So women want an expensive ring when we propose to them but when they were propose to us we get a Poundland ring."
And, @bigphil321 said: "Very, very clever marketing from @poundland on the engagement ring story... It has shades of the Gregs Vegan sausage roll, eye catching and a tad controversial."
However some did approve of the rings and thought they were a good idea at a time when there is too "much snobbery in this world".
User @Bluebell_crafts said: "Personally if I was with somebody, they had no money and they gave me a Poundland engagement ring I'd treasure if the same as if they'd given me a diamond.
"Too much snobbery in this world. If you do receive one show it off with pride, get your diamond when he has money."
