Shoppers question Asda after spotting big blunder on Disney dinner product

George at Asda is hugely popular for its dinner sets and tableware.

The supermarket recently went viral for its £12 safari dinner sets, with the gorgeous bowls and plates selling out pretty much immediately after being posted on social media.

Asda's latest Disney range with a nod to character Tinkerbell has also gone down well with fans too, however, on closer inspection shoppers have noticed an issue with one of the teapots.

The teapot in question has been shared on Instagram after a customer clocked it in a store.

The design features a silhouette of the famous fairy, some dandelions and the words "sprinkle a little fairy dust".

However, while many called the tableware addition "magical" others were quick to spot the awkward blunder.

It's quite clear the word "little" is spelt incorrectly, having two of the letter 'L' in the middle, instead of double 'T'.

The spelling error is also visible on the teapot advertised for sale on Asda's website, reports The Mirror.

The product description reads: "Create an afternoon tea setting fit for a princess with this Tinkerbell footed teapot from George Home.

"Designed in white with gold-effect detailing and charming 'sprinkle a little fairy dust' lettering, it's a beautiful treat for a Disney fan."

One shopper wrote: "Was so excited when I first brought this. Until I got home and realised that little has been spelt 'litlle' really hope they make these again spelt right as I love it but have to take it back as I can't un-see the spelling now."

On social media a second commented: "Oh my goodness. There's a spelling mistake!!! @asda @georgeatasda @asdaprteam Please sort this out!!"

And another added: "Took me a while - my eyes were seeing a double t."

Wales Online has contacted Asda for comment.
