McDonald's sweet curry sauce is a firm favourite amongst fast food lovers - and fans of the dip are getting excited over a product being sold at a supermarket which tastes just like it.
Tesco is selling bottles of sweet curry sauce which apparently taste exactly the same as the McDonald's dip - and are priced at £1, reports The Mirror.
A Facebook user recently shared a photo of the product on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, writing: "This curry sauce is so nice, tastes just like the McDonald's curry dip. Only £1 in Tesco."
The item comes in a 250ml squeezy container and the label suggests it is the ideal accompaniment for fries.
The post quickly went viral with thousands of comments, likes and shares within hours of going up.
One person said: "Look for this later."
Another replied: "Need some."
A third added that the sauce would be "the answer to [their] problems".
One eager shopper went straight out and bought their own to do a taste test, confirming the two sauces did indeed taste the same.
They wrote: "Got mine today from Tesco and OMG it sure does taste the same as McDonald's sweet curry sauce. It was good with my chips."
The Tesco version is described as being "warming and sweet", with McDonald's describing its sauce as "sweet and sharp" with a fruity apricot and delicate spice flavour.
For calorie counters, the Tesco version may just get the nod, coming in at 17 calories for one tablespoon serving, while a 30g serving pot from McDonald's contains 50 calories.
