Shoppers joke Aldi has 'no shame' after latest McDonald's food dupe

Aldi shoppers joked the store has "no shame" after spotting its chicken nuggets, which resemble McDonald's McNuggets, online.

Budget-friendly retailer Aldi is well known for its dupes of popular and high-end products, with the recent Cuthbert vs M&S' Colin the caterpillar cake going viral.

Aldi also creates beauty product dupes, with its Lacura hot cloth cleanser often compared to luxury brand Liz Earle but for a fraction of the cost.

The retailer was at it again with its chicken nuggets, which were quickly compared to those by fast food giant McDonald's.

Posting a photo of the nuggets with fries in red boxes to its 686K Instagram followers, Aldi wrote: "Get ready to give your dinner an upgrade with our tasty Chicken Nuggets. Wonderfully crisp and perfectly dunkable! Can someone pass us the ketchup?

"Find them in store now."

The photo proved a hit on the popular social media platform, racking up more than 1,400 likes.

Shoppers shared their thoughts in the comments section.

Allen said: "Tried the burgers they are amazing but still can’t get my hands on your nuggets."

Rose said: "They are never available! So gutted!"

Emma commented: "My kids LOVED these this weekend as a treat!!"

Ness said: "These are TOO good. I'm ashamed to say I ate them all myself!"

Loretta posted a laughing face emoji and said: "You guys have no shame, I love it."

Edreft also posted laughing emojis and added: "You are savage."
