Shoppers at the Piazza were evacuated from the busy shopping centre this afternoon due to a blaze in the building.
The Paisley town centre complex was closed this afternoon following an electrical fire.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at around 11.30am after the fire took hold of a junction box within a store.
Five fire engines swarmed the busy shopping centre to tackle the fire which is thought to have started in a store basement.
A spokeswoman from Scottish Fire and Rescue said: "We receieved a call at 11.29am regarding a building fire in the Piazza Shopping Centre.
"We then attended at the locus with five appliances. The fire was found to be within an ignition box."
