Shoppers are divided over a £1.50 Boots product that claims to brighten up tattoos

A bargain shopper has picked up on a product by popular brand Lynx that promises to boots the appearance of tattoos and it's sparked a divisive conversation on social media.

If you've spent hundreds of pounds on tattoos it's only reasonable to look into products that promise to care for them and some shoppers say that Lynx + Series Ink Shower Gel does exactly this.

Most people were not expecting miracles but it does contain olive oil which is well known for making tattoos appear brighter and it was half price at Boots for £1.50.

Lots of people raved at how good it was while some said it made no difference and was all marketing - others saw the opportunity to have a laugh.
