A shopper has slammed Asda after claiming to have bought a carton of apple juice that was nearly a month in date, only to find it full of mould.
Lys Wright bought the carton of apple juice from a branch of Asda in Dunfermline, and was horrified to find it allegedly full of mould when she went to drink it.
Wright filmed the juice being poured through a sieve and what appeared to be big chunks of mould coming out the carton.
The 18-year-old captioned the video: "Check your Asda brand apple juice.
"I thought the taste of another carton was off and turns out it was a bit more than off.

"This was freshly opened. Put me right off apple juice."
The teen zooms in on the expiry date of the apple juice which is December 12, 2021.
When she pours it out, yellow and purple mould could be seen at the bottom of the sieve.
The video was filmed on November 10, in Dunfermline, Scotland, after it was bought on October 30, from the storm in Halbeath Road Retail Park.
Lys added: "The Asda we bought it from never picked up the phone."
The teen then contacted St Leonards Asda in Dunfermline, which offered her a five-pound voucher. Lys added: "We got in touch with St Leonard's and they gave us a fiver voucher, but I am more concerned about health and safety in all honesty.
"This shouldn't be happening in a giant corporation."
An Asda spokesperson said: “We set ourselves very high standards and on the rare occasion a fresh juice carton is damaged it can lead to mould forming inside the carton.
"We would recommend any customer that is unhappy with a product to bring it back to store so we can look into it and we are trying to get in contact with Lys so we can apologise for the poor experience she had.”
