If you're an online shopping addict who's always on the lookout for the latest deals, one woman has shared a hack which may take your bargain hunting to another level.
Once you've added everything you want to your virtual basket, you might begin searching through endless discount code websites - only to become frustrated to find they expired in 2014.
But a TikTok user who says she works in marketing has shared a simple way to find active codes using Facebook to give you money off some of your favourite brands.
The short clip by @Slimeseason33 has been viewed more than 1.2 million times as others thanked her for sharing the tip.
She says if the store you are shopping with doesn't have a sale running, head to the Facebooks Ad Library - which is easily found with a simple Google Search - which allows users to view all current adverting campaigns posted by brands on Facebook and Instagram.
The caption states: "Search for the brand in Facebook Ad Library to find the secret promo codes they're running."
It shows various brand adverts appear once the retailer has been chosen from the drop down of pages which appear and the 'all adverts' tab has been selected, with codes to bag 15 to 20 per cent off your next order.
The post has racked up more than 1,000 comments from many people who never even knew the tool existed.
One replied: "Wait this is so powerful..."
A second wrote: "Innovator, lifesaver, legend, mother of all, etc. Thank you."
Another said: "A hero we don't deserve but needed, thank you," while a fourth added: "Literally one of my favourite things I learned working in marketing."
