A Reddit user has shared a post with a picture of stacks of M&Ms boxed up by colour, all lined up in huge bundles, along with the caption, "My discount grocery store sells bulk M&Ms separated by color".
The post instantly caught the attention of other Reddit users, garnering over 1.7K comments since it was posted 15 hours ago on the site. Fans of the popular confectionery were delighted by the array of unusual colours, which include rare black and purple versions of sweets.
The original poster was also bombarded with questions about incredible snap, with one asking "Location please? Asking for a friend".
Another added, "Well I know where I'm going tomorrow lol".
One Reddit user even revealed they had bought the custom sweets for their wedding, stating: "We ordered custom-printed M&Ms for our wedding favors".
Another user also confirmed they're popular for special events, writing "I've also seen the various colors sold like this for weddings, graduation parties, etc. Any event where you want a certain color theme. I'm pretty sure I've been to a wedding that had their last initial on them instead of the 'm' as well."
The original poster, who is from the US, confirmed the snap was taken at an American chain called Grocery Outlet, which is based on the West Coast.
