One savvy shopper has come up with a hack that will bag you a McDonald's Big Mac and fries for just 99p.
The bargain-hunter shared the insanely cheap lunchtime meal deal on deal-sharing website Hotukdeals.com.
The member posted: "I wasn't 100% sure if this would work or not so tested at lunch. Using the customer survey discount to get a Big Mac and fries for £1.99, it stacks with the 50% off Eat out offer (need to dine in - although can leave once you have your food).
"I had to get them to manually apply as there was an issue with the touchscreens at my local. Valid Monday to Wednesday during August."
Normally a portion of medium fries costs £1.09, while a Big Mac burger cost £3.49, with a full medium extra value meal setting you back £4.89 - so it's a massive saving.
The member also added a picture of their receipt as proof of the bargain deal.
The handy trick means diners can take full advantage of the government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme for those who choose to eat in at various McDonald's chains.
Several other major fast food chains including Nando's and KFC are taking part in the scheme, which launched earlier this month across the UK.
Shoppers will also need to complete the chain's long-running customer survey to get Big Mac and Fries for £1.99 deal.
To claim fast food fans need to visit mcdfoodforthoughts.com and fill out the survey along with the special code found on the top of McDonald's receipts.
Once completed participants are sent a redemption code for the offer.
