This is the moments a shopper was left ‘disgusted’ after spotting a MOUSE running around in the food hall of Arndale Market.
Video footage shared with the Manchester Evening News shows a mouse crawling around on the floor of the market at the weekend. The clip, taken at 11pm on Sunday (August 14), horrified the person who sent it in, who has asked to stay anonymous.
After seeing the clip, Manchester City Council, which owns the Arndale Market, has now confirmed ‘aware’ of the incident. It also said it is ‘investigating’.

“This is absolutely disgusting, people eat from there,” the individual who sent the video, said. They added: “People eat from there and buy food [to] take it home for their families, so something needs to happen from this.”

The video, which is 45 seconds long, shows the curious mouse scurrying around on flooring tiles. It is near a fridge and food counter.
In response to the video, a council spokesperson told the M.E.N. : "We are aware of a video that has been circulating of rodents in the Arndale Market.
"Instances like this are rare and our teams perform regular inspections at the site to monitor the problem. We have made our teams aware of the recent video and they are investigating it. "
