Shopper calls out Primark after spotting spelling mistake on Friends T-shirt

One shopper has been left bemused after spotting an awkward spelling mistake on a T-shirt bought from .

The top, which was purchased by Twitter use Dan Molloy, read 'I'd rather be watching Friends' - or so he thought.

Upon closer inspection, Dan realised there was actually a massive typo on his new tee, and it didn't read that at all.

Airing his grievances on Twitter, Dan wrote: " @Primark I got this top from you and have now noticed the typo in it. How ridiculous that noone (including me) noticed it and it was allowed to be displayed and sold. I no longer have my receipt, what can I do? Thank you."

Can you spot the mistake?

It's easy to miss, but the top reads 'watchng' instead of 'watching'. Awkward.

And if you missed it you're not alone, as one social media user replied: "Took me a min to see it! "

Primark's official Twitter account has since replied to Dan's tweet, writing: "Hi Dan, we are sorry to see that, you are of course welcome to return your t-shirt to your local store at your convenience for a full refund or exchange. Thanks!"

A Primark spokesperson told Manchester Evening News: "Where we identify a typing error on one of our products, we will remove the product concerned from sale as quickly as possible.

"Customers who purchased the product can return it to one of our stores for a full refund and we apologise for any inconvenience caused."
