Shopper baffled after spotting couple dumping 'flailing' baby on cold hard floor

It's no secret that parenting is hard work - especially when it comes to leaving the safety of the house with babies and infants.

But, while parents who take on the difficult task of taking their offspring to busy - and often stressful - places like shopping centres deserve credit, one couple's parenting techniques have left a lot of people scratching their heads.

It comes after a baffled shopper, who goes by the name of Jay Gunna, took to TikTok to share a bizarre sighting, after spotting a couple who had placed their baby onto the cold, hard floor of a shopping centre food mall while they ate their meals.

Told you it was a bit of a head scratcher.

Do you think it's okay to lie a baby down on the floor of a public area? Let us know in the comments section...

The horrified looking shopper can be heard questioning, "are they for real for real?! Or for fake?"

Unsurprisingly, many TikTok users were also left horrified, with many pointing out the sanitation issues around the floor of such a public place.

"Someone needs to rub their faces on that nasty floor so they understand," one user commented, while another added: "She's not a dog!"

"That's so sad, poor child. and like no one said anything," another wrote, while a fourth added: "I can't believe no one said anything. I would have gone straight up to them and told them that's unacceptable!"

"Omg I'm so mad, that makes my actual blood boil," one TikTok user commented, while another questioned why no one thought to inform the police.

Other TikTok users shared the clip, warning other parents to never put their children on the floor in situations where they don't know how clean the surfaces are or what germs are lying around.
