A shoplifter who was spotted by police attempting to steal from a shop in Bulwell left his ID behind as he fled.
The man, who tried to steal £85 from Poundland, also left a small Adidas man-bag behind when he took off.
Bulwell Police posted a picture of the man's back Lacoste coat and a small bag on Twitter, where officers also asked him if he wanted to "pop down and get it whenever you want".
The force said: "Shoplifter tried to steal £85 from Poundland, you left your coat, man bag and ID behind when you ran off.
"Feel free to pop down and get it whenever you want. Just make sure to ask for PC Hughes."
Officers crowned the tweet with the hashtag: "#seriouslyadidasandlacostedontevengobro".
