Shopkeeper furious after CCTV captures moment jogger appears to defecate outside store

A runner has been accused of "having a poo" outside of a Fenham shop.

Stomach-churning footage captures the moment a jogger sneaks behind a wall at Narang's News 'N' Booze and squats down.

After finding waste outside the store staff checked CCTV suspecting a dog had possibly made the mess but what they found left them dumbstruck.

"It is absolutely disgusting," claimed a family member, who said a relative was forced to scoop it up.

"I went mad when I watched it."

Footage shot from multiple angles catches what appears to be a blonde female sneaking behind the Cedar Road store's wall.

Suspecting the coast is clear, she squats down before allegedly defecating, when she is finished she can be seen doing star jumps before continuing her run.

And the family member fumed: "This woman just gets back up and runs off like nothing happened.

"It makes me quite angry that she hasn't bothered to clean it up.

"And the symbol on the gate is a religious symbol, which disgusts us even more."

"You just can't believe this sort of thing happens.

The incident unfolded at around 6am during a dawn run back in June.

It occurred just yards from Sacred Heart Catholic High School outside the store - which has a five-star hygiene rating.

The family are now making the footage public in a bid to track down the culprit - and to shame them into coming forward and saying sorry.

"I'd want the person who did this to get the message that you just can't go around doing that sort of thing," added the family member.
