A robber entered a convenience store and threatened staff with a knife.
After demanding cash, he poured coins from the till into the bottom of his jumper and ran off.
The incident took place at around 10am yesterday (Monday, May 24) at the Locking Stumps Nisa Store in Birchwood, Warrington.
The suspect is described as white, in his early 20s, around 5ft 4ins tall and of medium build.
He was wearing a grey hooded top with a long-sleeved black top underneath, dark blue bottoms, white or cream gloves and black and white trainers.
Cheshire Police is appealing for witnesses.
Detective Constable Cameron Mackay said: "While no one was injured, it still left staff shocked by their ordeal and we are making a number of enquiries to locate the suspect.
"If you have CCTV or dash cam footage or any information that may help our investigation I'd urge you to get in touch."
