Shop owner shocked after eerie paranormal activity caught on CCTV in Mayfield, Co Cork

A Cork service station owner believes his shop may be haunted after freaky paranormal activity was caught on CCTV.

Tom O'Flynn from Tolison's Service Station Mayfield checked back on his cameras from Tuesday night to see a number of items being flung around the store.

The shop owner has no explanation for the activity and said the place recently passed a rodent inspection so it couldn't be put down to that.

Speaking on the 96fm Opinion Line, Tom said: "I started Wednesday morning and saw biscuits on the ground and thought nothing of it.

"Then went around and saw a large fruit bowl on the ground so we checked CCTV and it looks as though it was pushed off.

"I would have been very sceptical with things like this but I looked at all angles and I'm at a loss with this.

"This was at 12:30 at night and both incidents happened about 10 minutes part.

"The bowl was full of bananas oranges and apples and it got pulled over and there was no one around. Cork Ghost Researchers discover potential paranormal activity in Cobh Woods.

"Jesus when I saw it my heart kind of pounded I didn't know what to make of it, I looked at all angles and couldn't get my head around it."

The shop is situated in between two funeral homes which makes it even more spooky.

Tom added: "You are always going to have visitors when you are in between the two of them.

"We had to throw out the apples and bananas as well."

The video has been viewed thousands of times online with nobody appearing to have any explanation for what may have taken place.

And Liam from the local Cobh Supernatural Investigators has offered to come to the shop and try see if there is any paranormal activity taking place.

He added: "Now Tom seems like a very honest man but the last thing we say about these things is they are haunted.

"We'd look at the possibility that they were stacking things too tightly the night before and if they were packed together too tightly and pushed things off the shelf.

"But if we were to throw all these things away we would offer to go in free of charge with the bells and whistles, we would."
