A shop in Stapleford has announced to customers that it will be permanently closing.
Yum Yums Stapleford, on Derby Road, confirmed the news on Tuesday, August 3.
The sweet shop has closed its doors due to personal health reasons and has transferred all stock to its counterpart in nearby Long Eaton - which will remain open.
The store announced on Facebook: "Due to personal health reasons (not Covid) this shop is now closed.
"All sweets and stocks available at Yum Yum Long Eaton. Thank you all for your custom."
A member of staff at Yum Yum Long Eaton declined to comment further on the closure.
Customers thanked the shop for its service to the town after being told of the news.
One wrote: "All the best to you. You have been much appreciated in our home for last few years"
"Also sorry to read this," said another.
"Love coming into your shop, you will be missed."
