Thursday's raids - codenamed Operation Cape - were the latest stage in an investigation launched following severe violence in the Dingle area.
Three shootings and a firebombing are believed to have been connected to the same outfit, thought to be led by a 17-year-old boy.
Each of the shootings is believed to have been carried out with the same gun.
This is what we know about the attacks, all of which placed lives in danger.
Dingle Lane, December 29
The first shooting took place on Dingle Lane just days after Christmas.
A bullet struck a home just after 11pm, with detectives saying it was simply "good fortune" no-one was hurt.
Neighbours believed the gun was brandished during a skirmish that included a crash on the street, and detectives also think this was the case - with the shooting have been aimed at a car on the road.
Those inside the house at the time had nothing to do with the incident, but could have paid with their lives.
Sundridge Street, January 8

At around 8.45pm, officers were called to Sundridge Street to reports of damage being caused to a home.
Nobody was injured but the occupants of the house were left extremely shaken.
The area around Sundridge Street was cordoned off at both ends in the hours after the incident. House-to-house inquiries were carried out in the area and forensic, CCTV and witness queries took place.
A resident nearby described to the ECHO hearing a rapid succession of bangs that evening.
Beloe Street, January 20

In this incident, police were scrambled at around 1.05am on Wednesday, January 20, after it was reported that a loud bang was heard in the area.
Officers arrived at the scene where they discovered damage to the window of a house.
The damage was consistent with a shooting, police said.
No-one was injured during the incident but again - people were inside at the time.
Dingle Lane, February 5

There was also this horrific attack in which a family home was firebombed at 8.15am on February 5.
Petrol was poured over the front door and set alight.
It erupted in flames so quickly the thug responsible was almost seriously hurt themselves.
The emergency services believe this was so severe that those inside - children among them - were lucky to have escaped through the back before they became trapped by flames.
