Police are warning Gold Coast residents after four instances of gunfire struck high-rises along Lake Shore Drive over the past month.

The most recent shooting happened Thursday morning in the 1100 block of North Lake Shore Drive, Chicago police said in a community alert.

Three other shootings occurred the morning of Feb. 11 on the same block.

In each case, someone fired a handgun and struck windows or the outside of buildings, police said. No injuries were reported.

Police did not disclose a suspect description or who may have been targeted.

Former mayoral candidate Bill Daley and his sister Patricia Daley Thompson Martino live in separate buildings within a block of the shootings, according to Illinois State Board of Elections and Chicago voting records.

Anyone with information was asked to call Area Three detectives at (312) 744-8263.
