Shoosmiths has appointed high-profile lawyer Michael McLaughlin from DWF as the third partner in its Glasgow office.
He joins after more than a decade as DWF and previously Biggart Baillie's head of employment in Scotland. His appointment follows those of banking partner Fiona Cameron in January.
McLaughlin is an experienced litigator who represented Rangers FC during the SPL's independent commission into whether the club broke rules on paying players through EBTs.
He has also acted for Graham's dairy and a major distiller, among other high-profile clients.
Real estate partner Barry McKeown, who opened the office last year, promised more partner and senior appointments would follow as the Glasgow team expands its services on offer.
