Shocking video shows drivers going head-to-head in fiery street scrap

A pair of furious motorists went hammer and tong after their vehicles reportedly collided.

Footage shows the two men going toe-to-toe on the streets of Bristol in scenes reminiscent of the fight between Hugh Grant and Colin Firth in Bridget Jones' Diary.

Their cars having reportedly crashed, the two men dodge back and forth as they square each other up, Bristol Live reported.

The man in a blue jumper throws the first punch at his opponent who shuffles backwards out of the way of the blow.

As the aggressor continues his march forwards - throwing in little jabs towards the face - his foe dips his shoulder and launches a big right hook.

The man in blue counters with a swipe of his own, which flies wildy over the other road rager's head.

He momentarily drops to his knee, prompting the man in black and grey to grab him by the shoulders and push back.

Like rutting stags they smash into one another with their heads inches apart, separated only by their tussling arms.

While they struggle for position against a front garden wall, a man walks out of the house.

"Hey, hey, calm down lads," he says while working towards them, a dog woofing at his side.

The video finishes with the two men still in one another's arms, seemingly out of puff.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary said the incident was not reported to them.
