This shocking video shows the aftermath of a crossbow attack on a man in West Lothian .
The disturbing footage shows a man with an arrow sticking out of his chest after he was allegedly shot with a crossbow in Bathgate.
Armed police swooped on Rendezvous Place on Thursday night after reports of a disturbance.
In the clip the man claims: "A crossbow right through the heart!"
The bolt can clearly be seen protruding from his red T-shirt.

He then says: "I can't take it out - I've been shot, it's f***ing killing me. I feel dehydrated."
The man was taken to St Johns Hospital in Livingston for treatment to minor injuries.
A 30-year-old was arrested in connection with the incident after armed police arrived on the scene, Edinburgh Live reports.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: " Police in West Lothian, supported by specialist officers, attended reports of a disturbance on Rendezvous Place, Bathgate.
"A 46-year-old man was taken to St Johns Hospital, Livingston, with minor injuries.
"A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with this. He is expected to appear at Livingston Sheriff on Tuesday, 21 May."
